Twenty Florida startups, all market-tested, will pitch their expansion plans to a group of nationwide investors looking for growth opportunities.
The Florida Venture Capital Conference kicked off yesterday and continues today at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach. Now in its 22nd year, the conference is Florida?s only statewide venture capital conference for later-stage businesses. Past events have attracted a combined $2.7 billion in venture capital funding for companies.
Two area startups, Proficient Auto Transport Inc. of Jacksonville and Navitas Lease Corp. of Ponte Vedra Beach, are among the companies pitching. Read more here.
